6-14 Sunday

Dinner
After a day of walking around the magical grounds of the IMA coming home I had my favorite dinner.  Gyros.
I ate 1/2 the fries and everything else.  It happened in 2 sessions, but it happened.

Breakfast
I went to the IMA to explore the paintings and walk the grounds.  I picked up some whole wheat flaxseed crackers on the way to the museum.  I ate 1 serving.

6-13 Saturday

Snack
Sherbet-melted the rest of the container in the sink.  I can't handle having it in the house. 
Dinner Asian pasta
  • whole wheat noodles
  • soy sauce
  • lime juice and zest
  • canola oil
  • garlic and ginger
  • 1 small onion
Snack
  • baby dill pickles
Snack
  • tin of sardines
  • 1 tbsp lite mayo
  • crackers
Lunch
  • Coleslaw
  • cheese
  • crackers
Breakfast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 5 pickled jalapenos

Ok so after a long long long bike ride.  I determined that I could deconstruct the slaw dog by creating a slaw that would be low calorie but could still fulfill that need.  
Coleslaw
4 cups green cabbage
1 onion
2 stalks celery
2 large carrots
1/4 cup raw no salt sunflower seeds
Homemade Ranch dressing
Bingo!!  So good and so what I was looking for.  Should have plenty for the weekend.

I ate some cheese and crackers while on the computer.
Dinner
  • The last of the brown rice/lentil thing.  It really lasted a while and was tasty.
Lunch. I was pissed off at the world today.  So angry and crabby.  I don't know what was wrong.  I went and had my favorite slaw dog at the root beer stand.  Kind of a fond farewell. 
  • 2 slaw dogs
  • 1 order fried mushrooms
  • 1 diet root beer 
Breakfast
Goofed up omelet
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices ham
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • pickled jalapeno 

6-11 Thursday

By the end of the night I jumped into the sherbet.  I also had a handful of bitter chocolate chips.  I've got to get rid of the sherbet.  I can't have it in my house.
Dinner
  • Brown rice
  • lentils
  • carrots/celery/onion
  • Added srichri sauce hotter than blazes.  Trying to offset the sugar craving.
Packed this for lunch/snack in class.  1/4 cup dried cherries and 1/4 cup dry roasted almonds. It's an evening class and someone always brings in a treat.  I brought this to offset the treat.  I had the treat also something called gooey cookies...small amounts but once the sugar hit my system all I wanted was more.
Gross but true...had my left overs from last night for breakfast...right after my AM yoga.  Rode my bike to class.

6-10 Wednesday

Put more than half in a box right away.  I'm so proud of myself.
Fajita Nacho's.  This is a 1/2 order.  And look what I did...
Dinner
  • Miller light frosty mug
  • chips and salsa---I ate all the salsa and shared the chips with 3 others.
Snack before dinner 1 pluot
Lunch
  • 2 cups greens
  • homemade low fat ranch
Ranch Recipe adapted from Glutten-free girl
1 1/2 cups greek style fat free yogurt
1 cup no fat buttermilk
1 tsp each dill weed, oregano, powdered garlic
Lemon juice, salt and cracked pepper to taste.
Mix well. Best the next day.

Lunch
  • 1/2 charizzo sausage
  • 1 cup brown rice/lentil/vegetables
  • Not pictured another serving of brown rice/lentil/vegetables
1 sandwich bag full of Kashi cereal
I only ate 1/2
Did AM yoga and rode my bike to school this AM and didn't have time to breakfast.  I'm loving the bike thing.  Ate this in class.

6-9 Tuesday

Dinner
  • 1 cup brown rice/lentil/vegetable mix
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • Not pictured...I had 2 servings of pretzels and  ranch dip before bed.
Snack
  • 1 serving pretzels
  • 1 pluot
Lunch
  • 2 cups greens
  • 2 slices boiled ham
  • Lime/flaxseed vinaigrette
  • I ate but didn't photograph...2 more slices ham and 5 mini gherkin pickles
1 pluot
Breakfast
  • 1 cup Kashi cereal
  • 1/2 cup 1/2% milk
Exercise:  1/2 hour yoga in the AM rode bike to class.

6-8 Monday

Snack
1/4 cup dried cherries and 1/4 cup dry roasted almonds.
Dinner
  • 2 cups whole wheat rotini
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
2 pieces havarti cheese and crackers-consumed when dinner was being made.
Lunch
2 pieces Gouda cheese and crackers
Breakfast
1/2 cup black bean hummus
homemade ranch made w/ no fat yogurt and buttermilk
3 tostadas

Holy cow...I sucked down the water today to counter act the cheese.  I had not gone grocery shopping this weekend and was very limited on what I had.  I went shopping this evening so I'm thinking that tomorrow will be much better.  I went swimming and walking and bike riding today.
